Like most girls, I can be quite picky when it comes to make up. I want a mascara that isn't going to give me spider eyes but still gives me long thick looking lashes. Maybelline New York's Illegal Length mascara does give you the length whilst keeping the lashes looking natural and not clumpy or spider-like.
The added length to your lashes is due to the fibre brush that comes with the mascara. It's a really nice applicator as it doesn't pull on your lashes like some mascaras can do. As you apply you can immediately see the impact that the mascara is having on your lashes with each stroke. My eyebrows look a little strange in the photos below but you can see the difference quite clearly.
Looking again the "after" photo is a little creepy because I'm staring into the camera, sorry about that!
One slight downside is the lack of thickness but at least it means I avoid clumps and lumps on my eyelashes!
I've seen quite a few people talk about this mascara but never known whether it was actually any good or not, might have to check it out next time I need a new one :) xx ps. love seeing your new posts pop into my bloglovin feed! x
